Training
Mike and his team have decades of experience leading engaging training to improve your team’s leadership skills. Leadership for Change’s areas of specialty include coaching skills for supervisors, facilitation skills, organizational development. Be sure also to check out the work of F.A.C.E. Consulting Collaborative – a multiracial, cross-class team of trainers that Mike and colleagues launched in 2013 to create heightened awareness and action on issues of Cultural Competency, Anti-Oppression, Equity, and Inclusion.
This list is a sample of workshops Mike offers, which can be modified for 2-hour, half-day or full-day formats. While he has workshop agendas and materials prepared, he prefers to customize them to meet the needs of your program or group. These workshops are designed to be highly interactive and are built around the assumption that each participant comes with a wide range of knowledge and skills to offer the group. The best workshops are the ones that allow for all to share their talents with other group members.

SITUATIONAL LEADERSHIP
Thank you for facilitating a workshop with our team on situational leadership! We’ve received lots of great feedback from members & site supervisors—everyone thought the session was valuable. It was an accessible way to begin conversations about supervisory styles & leadership styles for our team. We appreciate all the work you do to train VISTAs throughout the state (and country) and empower young people locally.
